Terms of Service & Reiki Client Agreement

Welcome to Biofield Transformations, LLC. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of https://biofieldtransformations.com/ and your participation in services and offerings provided by Biofield Transformations, LLC (“Biofield Transformations,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By using this website, creating an account, making a purchase or donation, enrolling in training, or using our other offerings, you agree to the provisions of these Terms that apply to that activity. Remote Reiki clients must also provide the separate electronic acknowledgement described in Section 3 before accessing the scheduling calendar.

1. Website Use

This website and its content are provided for informational and educational purposes related to Reiki, meditation, breathwork, the biofield, training, and holistic wellness.

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You may not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code, or copy, distribute, or commercially exploit protected content without permission.

2. Services Disclaimer

Biofield Transformations provides Reiki, meditation and breathwork guidance, education, and related wellness offerings intended to support relaxation, reflective practice, personal exploration, and general well-being. Individual experiences vary, and no specific result or outcome is promised or guaranteed.

These offerings are complementary wellness and educational practices. They are not medical care, mental health care, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for services from a licensed healthcare professional.

The practitioner does not diagnose medical or mental health conditions, prescribe medications, perform medical treatment, or provide psychotherapy. Consult an appropriately licensed healthcare professional regarding medical or mental health concerns. In an emergency, contact emergency services.

3. Reiki Client Agreement & Informed Consent

Biofield Transformations currently provides Reiki sessions remotely. Remote Reiki is a non-contact, energy-based wellness practice. A session may also include guided awareness, meditation, or optional breath-based relaxation practices.

Before the scheduling calendar becomes available, a logged-in client must affirmatively acknowledge the current version of this Client Agreement through the consent checkbox on the scheduling page. Biofield Transformations records the acknowledgement, date and time, and agreement version in the client’s account. When a new agreement version requires acknowledgement, the prior record may be retained as consent history.

By submitting that acknowledgement and participating in a session, you confirm that you understand and voluntarily agree that:

• Reiki is a complementary wellness practice and is not medical or mental health care.
• Experiences and responses vary, and no specific outcome is guaranteed.
• Participation is voluntary, and you may pause or stop a session at any time.
• You remain responsible for your healthcare decisions and general well-being.
• You will provide information reasonably relevant to safe participation and will seek licensed care for medical or mental health needs.

4. Assumption of Risk & Limitation of Liability

You understand that participation in Reiki, meditation, breathwork, training, and other wellness offerings is voluntary and that individual responses vary. You accept responsibility for deciding whether an offering is appropriate for you.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Biofield Transformations, LLC and the practitioner will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from your use of the website or voluntary participation in an offering. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability arising from gross negligence or willful misconduct.

5. Privacy & Confidentiality

We treat personal information and session communications with care and use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. Information may be used or disclosed as described in our Privacy Policy, with your authorization, to operate requested services through trusted providers, or when disclosure is required by law.

Electronic communications and online services cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please avoid sending information by ordinary email that you do not want transmitted through that medium.

6. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise identified, written materials, meditations, graphics, website content, course materials, recordings, branding, and other original content made available by Biofield Transformations are owned by or licensed to Biofield Transformations, LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may use purchased or authorized materials for your own personal learning and practice. You may not reproduce, redistribute, publish, sell, sublicense, teach from, or commercially exploit those materials without prior written permission, except as permitted by applicable law.

7. Accounts & User Conduct

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us if you believe an account has been accessed without authorization.

You may not use the website, accounts, community spaces, or services for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, harmful, or disruptive activity; attempt unauthorized access; upload malicious code; interfere with site functionality; impersonate another person; or violate applicable laws, including applicable United States export-control and sanctions laws.

We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the business, the website, intellectual property, or legal compliance. Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.

8. Training Programs & Certification

Training Format

Biofield Transformations offers Reiki education that may include self-paced lessons, digital materials, live milestones, practice requirements, attunements, mentor review, assessments, community participation, and optional support opportunities. The specific requirements published for each program control when they differ from a general description in these Terms.

Completion, Assessment & Certification

Completing lessons or attending training does not automatically result in certification. Completion makes a student eligible for the required assessment or mentor review. Certification is awarded only after the applicable program requirements are completed and the required competency is demonstrated.

If competency has not yet been demonstrated, additional practice, evidence, remediation, or reassessment may be required. A certificate may be withheld until the published requirements are met. Any certificate issued by Biofield Transformations documents completion and competency under the applicable program standards; it is not a government license and does not guarantee that the recipient satisfies local legal or professional requirements.

Prerequisites & Student Responsibilities

Programs may include prerequisites, attendance requirements, practice records, assignments, live milestones, ethical expectations, and evaluation criteria. Students are responsible for completing the stated requirements, submitting accurate work, respecting confidentiality and intellectual property, and understanding laws or regulations that may apply to their own practice.

No Guarantee of Professional Outcomes

Training and certification are educational in nature. We do not guarantee employment, income, business success, client acquisition, insurance eligibility, professional recognition, or legal authorization to practice.

Training Payments & Refunds

Training fees are separate from voluntary Reiki-session donations and are due as stated on the applicable enrollment or checkout page. All training sales are final and non-refundable except where a different written policy is expressly provided at purchase or a refund is required by applicable law.

9. Third-Party Services & Payments

The website may connect to third-party services for payment processing, donations, scheduling, analytics, media, account functionality, or other operations. Depending on the option you select, these providers may include Stripe, PayPal, Venmo, Calendly, and Google Analytics. Your use of a third-party service may also be governed by that provider’s terms and privacy policy.

Biofield Transformations does not directly receive or store complete payment-card information. Payment availability, authorization, processing, and provider-side refunds may also be subject to the selected provider’s rules.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing a claim, you and Biofield Transformations agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the matter informally by written notice, unless immediate legal relief is reasonably necessary. Any court proceeding must be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction in Florida.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as our services, practices, or legal obligations change. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the website or applicable offerings after the revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated website terms.

When a revised Reiki Client Agreement requires renewed acknowledgement, the scheduling interface will require you to acknowledge the current version before scheduling another session.

12. Acceptance & Electronic Acknowledgement

By engaging in an activity covered by these Terms, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review the provisions applicable to that activity. For Remote Reiki, your affirmative consent-checkbox submission is an electronic acknowledgement of the displayed Client Agreement version. The acknowledgement is associated with your logged-in account and stored with the date, time, and version.

If you do not agree to these Terms or do not wish to provide the Reiki acknowledgement, do not use the applicable service. You may still browse publicly available portions of the website subject to the website-use provisions above.
